To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Mom and Dad Happy Times.

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

I put mom's wheelchair van on Craiglist. I have to say it was a life saver. But now it just sets out side looking lonely. Many times the last few yrs. I have gotten bored and loaded mom up for a trip to the Sonic . The fireworks on the 4Th. , Christmas parade "last year not this year". And before she started yelling "A very bad" word with every bump her wheel chair hit we went to the mall a lot. Not to mention all the Doc. appointment's it took us to. But the last few things we did was stay in the van things. No more . Those times are gone. And we can use the money. I hope it sells fast and goes to a good home. Good bye old friend. :(

  1. You have a very interesting blog
God Bless You and I pray you find a job.

  2. Thanks. I have a job waiting for me when I can go back to work. I have a CDL Class B with P endorsment so I can drive a school bus or transit bus which I did for the many yrs.But I can use all the prayers I can get so Keep Praying.

  3. Karen...

We use to bring my daddy over for Christmas Dinner and Thanksgiving but the last couple of years he has stayed in the Nursing Home. We all hate it and miss him...but it was just too hard to get him up, dressed, focused, etc. Then the meal ended up being all over him and the floor and no one could relax. Now I take the treats to HIM!

On a preacher-man's salary he was able to save nothing. How my mother makes it is beyond me.

Thinking of you. Hope you sell that chair before Christmas.

    Love, Rebecca

  4. Hi Karen,
I'm hoping your van sells for a good price and goes to someone who really needs/wants it!

Please know that you and your mom are always in my thoughts and prayers.......

  5. Good luck selling the van and I too hope you get a price for it.

  6. Sending good thoughts your way. Hope it sells quickly! -V

  7. Hoping for a successful and lucrative sale!

  8. I wish you luck in selling your van and hope it finds a good home. It will most likely be a life saver for the right person.

Thanks for visiting my blog and I love reading your comments. Please come back soon. Karen
