Alzheimer's Walk
The Alzhiemer's walk is not till Sept. but we are starting early this year trying to reach our Team Goal of $1000. My starting goal is $100. With the help from my wonderful family and friends last year I raised over $300 . Thank you all again. If you can't donate find a walk near you. It is fun and lots of stuff to do. Food, Door Prizes. Music and more. Can't beat that. http://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk/OK-OklahomaandArkansas?px=6221126&pg=personal&fr_id=1573

I am trying to raise money also but for the American Cancer relay walk in May. If you donate as little as $10 you can get a chance to win an afghan that I made to raffle off.
ReplyDeleteYou can check my blog if you are interested. Look at the top left side of the side bar for details.
Good luck on meeting your goal!!
My mom told me that she is starting to have memory loss and is going to have some tests given to her. She is 80 and has always had a fear of getting Alzheimer's. Please pray that she is worrying for nothing. I don't live near her and we are not close so I really don't know how much is just her fear or real cause for concern.
Thanks I will ck out your blog for sure. I need to get caught up on so many. Good luck with your mom. My prayers are with you both.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping I can participate in a walk. Things are changing so much right now, I can't plan anything.
ReplyDeleteHope your doing well!
Hugs,
It is great fun Dolores I hope all is well for you and David and you get to go to a walk with your wonderful family. Good Luck.
