To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. No More Pigging Out

Help! I have been eating all day. I am hungry for some reason. I don't seem to be bored or depressed I am just hungry. If I told you before I am sorry but I lost 40lbs while I was working so I could wear my work shirt tucked in . "A new work policy". Anyway since I have not been working I am getting FAT . I have lots of stuff to do all day. I could dust, vacuum , garden, exercise but NO. I just want to eat. Not to mention laundry, dishes and taking care of mom. So I don't get bored I just don't do more than I have to. I used to bake all the time because I love to bake but I did not buy baking supplies the last trip to the store on purpose so I would not bake. No flour in the house. I miss flour. No cocoa either . I really miss cocoa. Brownies, fudge, peanut butter choc. oatmeal drop cookies. The sugar is getting lonely .What to do? What to do?

  1. Hi Karen, Nice name! Thanks for visiting my blog and for taking the time to comment.
I admire you for taking care of your mom.
I like to bake too but don't want to eat it all. So sometimes I'll bake something, eat just a bit of it and then give the rest away to my daughter, a friend or neighbor.

  3. The two of you are making me think we need to do some baking around here. I haven't done that in a long time. I was a little hungry when we got home from the Emergency Room yesterday, we both were really. Sue wanted chicken. I don't eat it myself but she got her chicken. I put some bratwurst on the grill for me. I ate four of them, the dogs shared one.

  5. Hi Karen,
I hope your weekend is going well.

I'm doing the same thing.... eat ... eat... eat... that seems to be all that I think about.

I made a cake today.... the easiest and best cake in ages! I took part of the cake to a friend, and a part to the Assisted Living Home... and we'll eat the rest...
    3 Ingredients: Spice Cake Mix
    Eggs (4 of them)
1 can of Apple pie filling....
mix..... and put in a greased/foured pan for 40 mins. = 350 degrees.... wonderful and oh so easy! I also put a cream cheese frosting on it...., but that wasn't called for.... (smile)
    Hugs!
