Hello all! I have nothing really to post. Everything is the same. Chilly outside, Mom sitting in her wheelchair waiting for the Aid to come and give her a bath and shampoo. My son is sleeping due to the 3 day weekend no classes today. He was sad the Cowboys lost to the Vikings yesterday. And said he was tired of football so did not watch the Chargers and Jets. I think if the Cowboys would of won he would not be tired of football.
My inside outside cat is begging to go out. He just came in 5 min's. ago. Just like a man a pain in the bottom.
Are any of you on Facebook? Since joining Facebook I have connected with a lot of friends from school. It is great fun to look into there lives. Facebook is also a way to see what is going on in my family that I would not really know if not on Facebook. A nice way to be nosey without them really knowing it. My son won't let me be his friend but his girlfriend is my friend . So Ha! to him.
The aid just came so better get off of here and pretend to be doing something constructive.
I'm on facebook, bout live there! I see you have an aide for your mom. Is that through a hospice or another caregiver agencie? My mom has an aide that comes 3 times a week, about 7 in the morning to give her a sponge bath. I don't get her up until about 9, then she is only up for 2 to 3 hours and back to bed. She used to get up for supper too, but I have had to cut down to the once a day, getting to difficult for both of us to move her back and forth more then once. I will look for you on facebook!
ReplyDeleteok, I am not going to be able to find you with just your first name on facebook! So, my name is Donna Webb, look me up! :D
ReplyDeleteThere are over 400 Donna Webbs on facebook :) my email is khz@cox.net.
ReplyDeleteOur Hospice aid comes twice a week. I get her up around 9 and she stays up till lunch than I put her down to change her and she takes a long nap till supper sometimes .Than I get her up and she stays up till 9 or 10.If something on Tv we stay up later. She don't mind just naps in the easy chair.
I'm staying off of Facebook because I already spend too much time blogging and I'm afraid I might never get off the computer if I started it. But, I know many people who love it. Like your mom's haircut from a few posts back. You are such a good daughter.
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not on Facebook. I was for a few days but got off. I'd rather blog.
ReplyDeleteMy team the Ravens didn't win their game either, but now I'm hoping for the Jets.
lol over 400, just did a search, mine is the first one, it is the picture of the teddy bear, called The Teddy Bear Waltz, that is the name of my blogsite.
ReplyDeleteYour cat--LOL I am on FB, but it iis a bit much for me, though I did reconnect with a few relatives, long lost to my life. It is fun to peek into their lives and a niece who, well, if her parents saw what I see, the hair/make-up, sexy pose and desire to move OUT---LOL, kids.
ReplyDeleteI go crazy sometimes on Facebook reading my neices stuff and her pictures. That is why my son won't let me be his friend. He knows I will bug him about everything.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen....... I'm on F/B, but I'm more of a lurker than a contributor.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy hearing what's going on with different people....
Hugs,
Dolores
I'm watching a friend wait in a similar situation right now. There's nothing easy to being a caregiver during such moments. Heart wrenching to say the least.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
